GGG Played the Official "The Dirt" After-party at The Whisky
Mötley Crüe set off the rumor mill on March 18, 2019, when West Hollywood's historic nightclub Whisky a Go Go posted a photo of its marquee reading “Mötley Crüe, Tonight Only.” The Whisky, where Mötley Crüe became famous in the ‘80s, was the venue for the private after-party that followed the world premiere of the upcoming biopic, “The Dirt,” which will be released by Netflix on March 22. The screening took place at the ArcLight Hollywood theater.
Though Vince Neil and Tommy Lee were both in attendance, Mötley Crüe did not take the stage that night. Instead, Girls Girls Girls, an all-female Mötley Crüe tribute band from New York City, surprised guests with a five-song set:
Girls Girls Girls
Shout at the Devil
Kickstart My Heart
During Kickstart My Heart, Colson Baker (also known as rapper Machine Gun Kelly), who plays Tommy in the film, joined Tommy Lee at the side of the stage. Both were seen rocking out and air-drumming through the rest of the set.
